The brief was to create a beautiful, peaceful space for a family of three. The family wanted to highlight natural materials with a focus on wood and shades of green in the soft furnishings.

To contrast with the beautiful historic features of the apartment, contemporary furniture and artwork was layered with antiques, bespoke pieces designed by the Studio and furniture the family had collected from their travels around the world to create a feeling of home, as though the family had lived in the apartment for years.

Natural textures of wood, stone, sheepskin, wool and linen were layered thoughout the home to create warmth and cosiness. Plants were used throughout the apartment to create a sense of calm in the busy centre of the city and to connect the outside with the inside.
